Vintage 1950's Constance Bannister Drink and Wet Baby Doll 17 Inch

Excellent condition mid-century collectible baby doll. She is designed to drink and wet. She has poseable arms and legs, moveable head and her eyes open and close. She has very pretty blue green eyes and eyelashes, and all her features are in wonderful condition. She has molded hair. She is dressed in hand made clothing and undergarments, with socks and "saddle" shoes. The clothing is consistent with the midcentury era and appears to be hand sewn. She has "Constance Bannister" embossed on the back of her neck. Constance Bannister dolls were modeled after their namesake, who was a well-known baby photographer, and was born in 1913 and passed away in 2005. 18-5S2 is embossed into the small of her back. She has very minor wear on her hair (see photos and message if you want more photos). She is a really lovely example of the midcentury Constance Banner doll.
