Vintage Frankoma Pottery Bicentennial Celebration Plate Patriot Leaders

1973 Collectible commemorative plate celebrating our nation's bicentennial. The front of the plate features embossed images of George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Patrick Henry, and John Handcock and the colonies. The back of the plate is also embossed with signatures of the signers of the Declaration of Independence. It is stamped on the back with "John Frank" of Frankoma. This plate is the second of the five in the series. It is made with the red Oklahoma clay and has a lovely white translucent glaze. It measures 8.25 inches in diameter and is in excellent condition.
